His legs are crossed and his hands are in his lap. He is wearing a dark suit with a dark bowler on his head. He is smoking a cigar and holding a piece of paper on his lap. He has a gray mustache and a white beard. There are many redwood trees around him, including one directly behind him. A card in the bottom right corner reads "Annual Relief from Care Squirrel Inn, May 27-30 Sunset Club, 1911 'Contentment'".
