Black and white photograph showing a group of Nigerian girls receiving training from a Church Missionary Society female missionary at their station at Ogwash-Uku in April 1936. They stand in the shade of a palm tree. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital in southeast Nigeria run by the Methodist Missionary Society.
