Description
Audio recording of the ceremony to designate Burlingame Railroad Station a California Registered Historical Landmark on May 22, 1971. The Master of Ceremonies was Stan Gates and speeches were given by a number of local historians and officials. The ceremony is recorded on side one of the tape (00:18:19). Side two contains a meeting of the Crystal Springs School for Girls Parents Group. The group discusses various topics such as school uniforms, representation on the school board, and local events (01:03:08).
