Image of an eye-level landscape view of a waterfall with trees, boulders, and three lounging Union soldiers, in the foreground, near Gauley Bridge, Virginia (now West Virginia).
This title is part of a set published as the Album of the Campaign of 1861 in West Virginia. Cincinnati : Ehrgott, Forbriger & Co., 1862. "Printed by Ehrgott, Forbriger & Co. Cincinnati."--text, bottom right margin. "Sketched fr. nature & drawn on stone by J. Nep. Roesler Corpl. of Color Guard Comp. G. 47th. Regt. O.V.-U.S.A."--text, bottom left margin. "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1862 by J. Nep. Roesler in the Clerks Office of the District Court of the Southern District of Ohio."--text, bottom center margin.
