Description
Photograph caption dated August 23, 1957 reads, "We want prize - These three youngsters won no prizes but still are proud of animals they entered in park pet contest. Carolyn McGarry, 10, of Van Nuys, holds cat Smoky. Robert Blount, 13, of Van Nuys, admires his cat Tilly, and Diane La Marr, 10, of Van Nuys, makes fuss over her turtle.
