Description
Pictured in this circa 1955 postcard is the North Sacramento Community Medical Center located at 201 Hawthorne Street. The 18-Bed hospital and clinic first opened in 1949. By the mid-1950s, the hospital was being sponsored by the Seventh Day Adventists Church. The North Sacramento Medical Center was also the first osteopathic institution in the west to host interns.
