Description
Photograph article dated December 26, 1964 partially reads, "Assemblyman Tom Carrell (D-San Fernando) begins his sixth year in the State Assembly on Jan. 4. He cites reapportionment, taxation, education and the countrywide tax program as key issues for the year. Carrell speculated that Gov. Edmund G. Brown might have a little more trouble with the Legislature this year even though Democrats still have a strong majority."
