Photograph of Sentinel Rock in Yosemite National Park, ca.1900-1910. A steep cliff with jagged points covers the left side of the image. Trees are visible along the peaks of the rock while the rugged indentations of the side of the mountain are barely visible because of the dark light cast on the cliff. To the right of center, a large tree sits alone at the bottom foreground of the image. In the background, a valley runs through the center of the image while more mountains and cliffs extend into the horizon.
