Description
On the corner of Fourth & Birch Streets in 1898. Overhead view of a huge crowd of people, some of them in military uniform are visible. Carriages are also visible in the background. A United States flag is on the right. Company L was formed by men of Santa Ana in 1890 as part of the State Guard. Company L gave assistance to San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake and served through the Spanish-American War, two World Wars and the Korean conflict.
