The Bellevue Terrace boarding house, a group of three mansions constructed in the Queen Anne style of architecture, sits at the center of the image, surrounded by a low fence. Each building is covered by clapboard veneers and has an elaborate porch, as well as turrets and gabled windows. Vegetation is visible in front of the mansions, behind the fence. A man sits on the fence at the center of the image.
