Description
Hand-colored, vertical postcard image shows corner view of the four-story, pagoda-roofed Sing Fat Co. Inc. building in San Francisco, listing additional branches at S. Broadway, at 6th St., Los Angeles, Cal, and Broadway at 25th St. in New York City across the bottom. The building was built in 1908 by architects Ross (1890-1957) and Burgren (1874-1951.) Several figures are walking in front of the building, with an automobile visible at far left and streetcar at far right. Five flags, including two American Flags and two yellow dragon flags, are visible along top of building. Postcard is stamped in red ink with Chinese characters across the bottom. Split-back printed in green ink with "Dragon Trade Mark / REGISTERED" an image of a dragon and several Chinese characters; numbered "9503."
