Photograph caption dated June 23, 1964 reads, "Perched on Mayor Samuel W. Yorty's desk is 6-year-old Liza Behr, 1964 Cystic Fibrosis poster girl. She visited the mayor's office to hear Yorty proclaim the month of June 19 - July 19 'Cystic Fibrosis Month' for Los Angeles. The local chapter of the National Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation has set a $100,000 goal."
