Photograph caption dated November 10, 1960 reads, "Birmingham sharpie - Tom Lupo, Birmingham High's sharpshooting passer, is expected to throw the pigskin around plenty tonight against Reseda in the Valley Times TODAY'S Game-Of-The-Week. Lupo has thrown for 1,036 yards already this season." Photograph caption dated October 8, 1960 reads, "Lupo (left) to Markham (right) top pass combo". Photograph article partially reads, "In the past few seasons there have been any number of fine passing - catching combinations on Valley prep football teams. But the best of the recent crop may turn out to be Birmingham's quarterback Tommy Lupo and his nimble receiver, end Charles Markham." See image 00159852 for an additional photo in this series.
