Twelve automatic electro-photographs - "Abe Edgington," owned by Leland Stanford, being driven by Marvin at a 2.24 gait, over Mr. Stanford's Race Track, at Menlo Park, on 11th June, 1878.
Part of work by Muybridge on photographing and recording horses in motion.
