Description
City of Hope was established in Duarte in 1913 as a medical and research institution to help those afflicted with tuberculosis. Documentation provided by the photographer indicates the gentlemen in this photo may be Dr. Horace R. Getz, Dr. Goldman, and Dr. Tepper (first names unknown). The main campus of City of Hope is located at 1500 East Duarte Road. The image, taken on April 15, 1955, was ordered by Jan Maddox of the Pasadena Tuberculosis Association located at 111 North Hudson Avenue.
