Description
This is the third part of a discussion between Jim Hayes and Peter Drucker. In this segment the main topic is job responsibilities. Executives have to learn to maintain relationships as a part of their job. Only the individual is responsible for maintaining and repairing relationships with others in the work place. Drucker compares work relationships to baseball, spider webs, and “taking care of your fences before they need mending” with small gestures. He also preaches the value in teaching practices rather than virtues.
