Photograph of a view of earthquake damage in Long Beach, 1933. At center, the remains of a two-story brick building are visible. The top section of the building has fallen down, revealing wooden rafters under the roof. A sign has also fallen from the building and several windows are broken. Debris litters the sidewalk in front of the building. In the background at right, another damaged building is visible its entire facade has fallen down. Legible signs include, from left to right: "We buy bicycles", "1508", and "Lawn mowers sharpened".
