Dr Richard Wolfendale, street preaching chapel, Chungking [Chongqing], China. ca. 1910
Photographer unknown. Dr Wolfendale (1866 - 1921) supervised the erection of the Chungking Hospital in 1899, and continued with medical missionary work until 1910 when responsibility for the hospital was passed to the Canadian Methodist Mission.
