Written on back: "500 block Bosworth about 1919, looking north. Tank building was a tannery owned by John Honold. 'Its demise was brought about when federal officers discovered a large still operated by new renters. The dismantling of that still caused great excitement in district.' Cars in front of Honold Tannery, #560? Bosworth. Gift of Mrs. D. E. Hopper - 641 Chenery - here since 1891.
