Description
Photo shows oil and mud spouting from an oil well fire. So powerful was the original blast and resulting geyser of oil and mud (background), that the road in the foreground, about 150 yards away, is covered with the slick goo. Police car moves slowly to avoid skidding. Photo dated: December 31, 1952.
