19 lines, written on recto along the fibers. Clear and regular script. Margins: top, 2.5 cm.; left, 1 cm.; right, 0.5 cm. bottom, 4 cm. Between lines 18 and 19 there is a blank space of 4.7 cm. On verso: address (along the fibers) Agathon strongly rebukes Patron (personal name) for neglect of his orders. Both probably hold posts in the Oxyrhynchite Nome. Text is dated the 4th year [probably of King Ptolemy III Euergetes], the 9th of the Egyptian month Payni (July 30, 243 B.C.) Patron is also on record in P.Tebt. III.1, 744-746, 748-749. In Greek.
