Description: Very Schultz, was the subject of "Vera, first lady of Marin", a biography of Vera Lucille Smith Schultz by Evelyn M. Radford. In1946 she was the first woman elected to the Mill Valley City Council, and in 1952 she was the first woman elected to the Marin County Board of Supervisors.
