Letter sometimes attributed to Robert Walpole opposing new duties on wine and tobacco ;original printed copy of letter done by T. Cooper of London. At issue is whether duties should be imposed on wine and tobacco. The author examines the process of the two trades, following the substances from producer through trader to consumer, and examining the implications of such duties on the business of the distiller, vintner, brewer, wine merchant, tobacconist, etc.
