Description
Huntington Park began to develop at the turn of the century when Whittier line of the Pacific Electric came through the area. This view shows Pacific Boulevard. In 1910 the Los Angeles Railway extended its Yellow Car "J" line to Huntington Park, and it became the only suburb served by a 5-cent car line. Photo dated: April 23, 1955.
