Description
Shown is a program for an open house hosted by the McClellan Air Force Base on May 19, 1950. The event was held a day before the first ever Armed Forces Day on which a parade was held in downtown Sacramento's business district and an aerial show accompanied. The program outlines the schedule of the open house on the back and describes several points of interest under a map of the base. The schedule includes open air concerts, a radio broadcast recording of a quiz show in which contestants had an opportunity to win prizes, an aerial demonstration, and an aircraft crash fire and rescue demonstration put on by the McClellan Fire Department.
