Photograph caption dated October 14, 1959 reads "Ralph Harper, standing left, chairman of San Fernando Kiwanis Club youth fund drive, presents check to Bob Hill, seated left, San Fernando Valley Boy Scout executive officer, for Camp jubilee youth Memorial Fund Drive. Fund was started by Valley civic leader Tom Carrel, in memory of his son. It will provide money for construction of recreation building at camp in Angeles National Forest. Plaque honoring Carrell boy will be affixed to building. Also at presentation are Dr. Edward Sudlow, standing right, president of San Fernando Kiwanis Club, and Louis Von Dyl, president of San Fernando Valley Boy Scout Council."
