Description: Yes, there was a football game at the Coliseum last night--the L.A. Express vs. the Denver Gold, to be exact. The announced crowd was 3,059, but there couldn't have been more than 1,000 people in attendance. The 3-12 Express was defeated by the Gold, 27-20, and now spring football in L.A. faces almost certain oblivion. Photo dated: May 31, 1985.
