Photograph caption dated February 27, 1964 reads "Camera-carrying riders approach lower station. Tram cars, which hold 80 persons, have windows on all sides." The article partially reads "The reason you're different is that you've taken a ride on the new Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which puts you on an Alpine terminal-chalet most of the way up Mt.
