Photograph of a steam locomotive pulling a long line of cars, [s.d.]. The locomotive is in the foreground at left and is headed to the left of the viewer. It is spewing dark smoke from a short stack near the front of the engine. At least nine cars are visible behind the engine, including a boxcar and a tanker. An empty track runs parallel to the one on which the train is traveling. There are two numbers visible on the locomotive: 4302 and 3. Photoprint reads: "S.P. Golden State Rental (?). Los Angeles - Chicago".
