Panoramic view of Benicia showing portions of Suison Bay, Carquinez Straits and San Pablo Bay; ferry slips, wharves and docks along waterfont, streets and buildings are numbered with a key at the bottom of the sheet. Buildings include churches, businesses, the U.S. Arsenal, hotels, railroad depots, mills, tanneries, city hall, schools, and the cemetary. Twenty-three vignettes of individual buildings and residences surround the main image in the center.
Vignettes include (from top, left to right): St. Dominic's Catholic Church and Monastery -- City Pharmacy, Property of Louis Weinmann -- Residence of J.E. Crooks -- Bank of Benicia -- St. Augustine College, Rt. Rev. J.H.D. Wingfield, D.D.L.L.D. President -- Young Ladies Seminary, Prof. P.
