The aircraft company formerly known as Probert-Devine Aviation Corporation became Avalon Air Transport, Inc. with Richard Probert as president. Photograph article dated December 7, 1948 partially reads, "Dick Probert of the Probert-Devine Aviation Corporation in Pacoima will be guest speaker at a meeting of the San Fernando Exchange Club tonight...in the Porter Hotel with Probert giving a brief history of his acquaintance with Actor Andy Devine and their co-founding of the aircraft company."
