Description
The simultaneous crashing of a wall and a world's record: Charley Paddock, the fastest human, dodging bricks while breaking his own 175-yard mark. His new time is 17 2/5 seconds. Almost 100 spectators and a 60-foot section of a brick wall spilled onto the track during this race at the Penn Relays. Paddock was forced to dodge bricks and leap over people to set his new mark. No one was seriously injured.
