Description
Interior view of J. C. Ainsley's fruit packing business, in the early days when the packing took place in a large shed, not the larger cannery that eventually produced 50,000 cans of peaches per day (all of which went to England). The photograph shows a dozen or so men and women paused in their work of either filling or lifting glass jars in order to pose for the photographer.
