Description
A poster of Presidential candidate of the National Liberation Movement (MLN), Mario Sandoval Alarcón sitting at a desk hangs above a portrait of the Black Christ of Esquipulas, a wooden image of Christ housed in the Cathedral Basilica of Esquipulas in Esquipulas, Guatemala. It is one of many Black Christ images found throughout Central America and Mexico. Below the poster is a cross and campaign flyer that reads, "Vote like this.
