Description
The pertinent portion of the caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on October 22, 1964 states: "A six mile stretch of four lane Interstate 80 freeway east of Cisco Grove, Placer County, was opened yesterday from Hampshire Rocks west to the intersection of State Route 20. The section is part of a $12.1 millions project started in June 1962 by the Fredrickson and Watson Construction Company of Watsonville, Santa Cruz County. . . . "
