Photograph caption dated September 26, 1958 reads, "Mrs. Frances Muir Pomeroy, left, discusses first fall meeting of San Fernando Valley Historical Society with Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord V. Kilgore who showed color slides of California landmarks. Kilgores were honored guests in celebration of their 51st wedding anniversary. He is society's official photographer."
