Description
"As technology advanced and automobiles became more affordable, service stations began to appear in Fair Oaks. Dewey Rice opened his Highway Garage on Howard Street (modern day Fair Oaks Blvd.) where the Oaks Hardware Store stands today. The Highway Garages is shown here around 1900."
