Description
Photograph of a view of Santa Monica beach houses looking north from Palisades Park, 1930-1935. A row of two- and three-story beach houses is in the middle distance at center along the shoreline. The ocean can be seen beyond them at right and center, and a long line of tall mountains tapers down to the water from left. In the foreground, a narrow dirt path leads down to the beach from the tall cliffs of Palisades Park. The path is bordered by a wooden fence and an assortment of plants.
