On verso: Addresss (along the fibers) Mounted with: P.Tebt.21 (Polemon's letter : [Kerkeosiris], to Polemon, [115 Dec. 23 B.C.]) Petition from Demas, a farmer of crown lands, and assistant to the farmers at Kerkeosiris, to Menches, the village scribe, complaining of a raid on his home by a band of marauders, headed by Pyrrhichus, son of Dionysios, and reporting which items were stolen on the occasion. The same raid is the subject of P.Tebt.46, P.Tebt.47, P.Tebt.1095, and P.Tebt.1096. In Greek.
