Description
A receipt for the advertising by the Masonic Union Lodge for the Sacramento Union Newspaper. The Sacramento Union Newspaper ran from 1851 to 1994, it was considered to be the oldest daily newspaper published in California. The Sacramento Union included the Steamer Union and the Weekly Union, it was purchased along with the Daily Record by Sacramento Publishing Company in 1875 further increasing it circulation.
