Description
Elizabeth Short's murder is refered to as the "Black Dahlia" case. In this picture we have Max Handler, a film bit player, also known as Mack Chandler, who is accompanied by Homicide Detective Ed Barrett (in hat & glasses). Handler is the 25th man to claim he killed the "Black Dahlia", but admitted during a lie detector test that he lied about his confession because he "wanted to get away from a gang of men who have been following me constantly".
