Original photograph has several creases on the lower left side.
Photograph caption dated November 23, 1947 reads "Dr. Joseph J. Hird of Reseda examines 'Rags,' famous movie dog, for a $200,000 life insurance policy issued by Lloyd's of London in favor of his employer, Frank Seltzer Productions, to insure completing his current role in 'Let's live again.' 'Rags' is a mutt and could not be replaced if he were a standard breed of dog. Diana Douglas, cast in the picture, looks on."
