Photograph caption date stamped February 17, 1959 reads, "Round Table, 1958 Horse of the Year, shown working out over Camino Real Turf Course at Santa Anita, has only a 50-50 chance of running in big Santa Anita Handicap as trainer Bill Molter disclosed that a quarter-crack has developed in his right front hoof. This could permanently end chance of showdown meet between Round Table and Hillsdale."
