Redwood Region. Fire weed is coming up on selectively logged ground along Van Duzen River. Species are: Erechtites prenanthoides (most abundant) Erechtites arguta Erigeron sp. Cirsium lanceolatum Cirsium sp. ? All up to 6 ft. high and very dense. Many redwood seedlings, one year old, among them. August 4, 1926
