San Pedro is on the upper right; Terminal Island is mid-photo, which is connected to the Port of Long Beach, also mid-photo. The Los Angeles River runs from the bottom right corner of the photograph, through the upper middle, and spills into the Pacific Ocean. Santa Catalina Island is visible in the far distance. Photograph dated December 2, 1955.
