Description
Note on image verso: "LMU Special Olympics practice--Chris Schmitt, student volunteer coach of the Loyola Marymount University Special Olympics, wheels Earl Nicholas of the East Los Angeles Crippled Children's Foundation around the wheelchair obstacle course, one of numerous field, track and team events planned for Saturday, April 8, on the Westchester campus, Loyola Boulevard at West 80th Street. The LMU Special Olympics is a pilot project in that it has been designed for the multi-handicapped rather than the mentally retarded, the format followed by the California Special Olympics."
