Image shows front view of the Edward I. Martin residence, located on Paseo del Mar on lot 7, block 1511, tract 6886 in Malaga Cove. View shows north side of the house with tile roof, small balcony over arched entranceway, external window curtains, and lush landscaping. Gardens were designed by the Olmsted brothers. According to the building permit card #129, the large Spanish style two-story home with attached three-car garage was built by the Palos Verdes Home Association as Project House #7. It is featured in the Palos Verdes Bulletin of April 1928, which includes a detailed plan of the house. The home was later owned by James de Silva.
