Photograph caption dated December 22, 1962 reads "Canoga Park High School's junior varsity runners recently captured the Los Angeles city cross-country team championship over the Pierce College course where hundreds of harriers competed. The Hunters who got the job done were, from left, front row: Lee Meneses, Jim Pohle, John Heitman and coach Charles Welsh and in the rear: Forrest Forbes, Owen Brosh, Gary Peterson, Orrin Sage and Fred Raitt. Brosh also won the junior varsity race to lead the Hunters to victory."
