Description
These recordings document readings by Thomas McGrath and Stuart Perkoff. The latter was an important Beat poet and founder of the Venice West Café, a hub of literary activity for the westside L.A. poetry scene. Guy Daniels published novels and poetry, but is most recognized for his translations of Russian texts; the latter he sometimes performed in Los Angeles during the 1950s.
