Photograph article dated January 16, 1963 partially reads, "Pierce College's basketball players are a strange lot, last Friday the Brahmas dropped a game they had no reason to lose, yet Tuesday they came right back with their finest effort of the season. Pierce shocked Glendale, 72-66, for its third Western State Conference win in four starts. It was Glendale's first loss." Photograph caption reads, "Glendale's John Block (32) kicks high as he takes rebound - Also in the thick of play are Pierce's Vic Vigeant (23) and Glendale's Glass (30)." Pierce Junior College is located in Woodland Hills, CA. Glendale Community College is located in Glendale, CA.
